The patented Schlemmer-Tec EMC cable gland made of nickel-plated brass is gas and water tight. In addition to its IP 68 sealing and vibration-proof strain relief and its 360° degree contacting, it is suitable for all EMC applications with the temperature ranges -40°C to 100°C. Due to its unique contacting, which does not result in any damage to the shielding braid, it is ideal for intermediate contacting and very quick to assemble

Assembly:
1. Strip cable approx. 10-15mm (depending on gland size)
2. Mount gland on cable.
3. by tightening the cap nut, the seal exerts pressure on the contact cage located in the terminal body. This gently presses the contact webs inward onto the shielding braid of the cable. Optimum EMC shielding is achieved by the patented 360° all-round contacting.
