Nitto No. 15 is a self-fusing tape based on butyl rubber that does not require an intermediate layer.
This results in a time saving during assembly that should not be underestimated. It has very good electrical properties and is weather and water resistant.

Proven areas of application include: corrosion protection for through- and branch connections of wires and cables, corona-proof insulation of high-voltage cables, sealing of cable ends, repair of cable sheaths, Corrosion protection of pipes, pipe connections and installations, as a filling material to compensate for unevenness before applying shrink materials.
