CAAD-M cable lugs are made of pure aluminum for electrical applications according to DIN 1712/1976, (purity min. 99,5%).
Crimping sleeve: dimensions according to DIN 46329.
Suitable for: hexagonal crimping with press inserts according to DIN 48083. L
: forged from electrolytic copper according to DIN 1787/1973
The connection between copper and aluminum is made on the most modern machines by the friction welding process.
All cable lugs are filled with a special contact grease that destroys the oxidation layer in the crimping area during crimping, thus guaranteeing optimum crimping.
Operating temperature: -50°C to +150°C
