Cable lugs type A-M are made of electrolytic copper tube (SE-Cu according to DIN EN 13600). The tube wall thickness guarantees the best electrical conductivity and mechanical protection against vibrations and pull-out of the conductor. Our cable lugs are annealed to guarantee optimum ductility; this is absolutely necessary as the cable lugs must withstand severe deformation during crimping and the usual twisting of the lug during use. The connectors must also ensure reliable contact in the presence of oscillations and vibrations. In these circumstances, hardness plays a crucial role in preventing fractures and cracks. The sight hole ensures correct insertion of the conductor. The sleeve length has been chosen to ensure easy and correct positioning between the press inserts during crimping.Our cable lugs are electrolytically tinned to prevent oxidation.
