The HWE1 hand tool has a wide range of inserts. The inserts can be changed without additional tools by simply operating the levers. The following press inserts are available:
- Insulated crimp terminals 0.5 - 6 mm²
- Wire end ferrules 0.5 - 35 mm²
- Non-insulated cable lugs from 0.5 - 10 mm²
- Non-insulated flat connectors 0.5 - 2.5 mm²
- Coaxial connectors
- Fibre Optic connectors
- Sub-D connectors

The hand pliers are supplied in a practical plastic case.
