Cable lugs type A-M are made of electrolytic copper tube (SE-Cu according to DIN EN 13600).The tube wall thickness guarantees the best electrical conductivity and mechanical protection against vibration and pull-out of the conductor.Our cable lugs are annealed to guarantee optimal ductility, which is absolutely necessary because the cable lugs must withstand strong deformation during crimping and the usual torsion of the lug during use.Also in case of oscillations and vibrations, the connectors must ensure reliable contact.Under these conditions, hardness plays a crucial role in preventing fractures and cracks. The inspection hole ensures the correct insertion of the conductor.The sleeve length has been chosen to ensure easy and correct positioning between the crimping dies during crimping. All Cembre tubular cable lugs are provided with a safety code system e.g. A 24 (= 120 mm2).When crimping with the ME hexagonal crimping dies, the same code (A 24) is impressed by the crimping die into the hexagonal surface of the crimping point. During a subsequent visual inspection, a simple check is thus possible and a mix-up is excluded.cable lugs are electrolytically tin-plated to prevent oxidation.
